Fledged: 2023. From a nest off Hollin Hill Lane, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead

Parents: Father – Untagged/ Mother - Untagged

Brief Summary: WTX5 can only be identified from a visual sighting. This bird was one of a brood of three. Its siblings were wing tagged X6 and X7. WTX5 was seen regularly in and around the nest wood following fledging. 

Latest Sighting: 23/10/23 -Just before dusk wing tag X5 was visually identified whilst perched on an electricity pylon not far from the nest wood. Two other kites were perched on an adjacent pylon.

Brief Summary: WTX6 can only be identified from a visual sighting. This bird was one of a brood of three. Its siblings were wing tagged X5 and X7. WTX6 was seen regularly in and around the nest wood following fledging. 

Latest Sighting: 30/07/23- Dusk: Wing tagged juveniles X6 and its siblings X5 and X7 were all identified from photographs near nest wood.

Brief Summary: WTX7 can only be identified from a visual sighting. This bird was one of a brood of three. Its siblings were wing tagged X5 and X6. WTX7 was seen regularly in and around the nest wood in the weeks following fledging. 

Latest Sighting: 30/07/23- Dusk: Wing tagged juveniles X7 and its siblings X5 and X6 were all identified from photographs near nest wood.

Fledged 2023: From a nest near South Snods, near Allensford, Northumberland

Male/Female: Unknown

Parents: Father –Untagged/ Mother - Untagged

Brief Summary: WTX8 can only be identified from a visual sighting. WtX8 was one of a brood of two. Its older sibling had already fledged the nest. Wing tag X8 was regularly seen with its parents and sibling in the weeks following fledging.

Latest Sighting: 10/08/23 – The family of four, which included wing tag X8 were seen flying together not far from the nest wood

Brief Summary: WTX9 can only be identified from a visual sighting. Wing tag X9 was one of a brood of three. Its siblings are wing tags Y0 and Y1. Wing tag X9 has only been identified once following fledging.

Latest Sighting: 10/07/23– Wing tag X9 seen flying with its siblings Y0 and Y1 near the nest wood.

Latest Sighting: 17/07/23 -Wing tag Y2 and siblings Y3 and Y4 were all seen within 200metres of the nest wood.

Latest Sighting: 04/09/23- 10.00hrs - Juvenile Y4 flew out of the nest wood with an adult. Both birds drifted north west.
