July 2017 - by early July the nest was empty and both chicks had fledged, towards the end of the month the family of four were seen flying together over the nest wood.
November 2017 - N2 and H5 were identified perched on a pylon with two other kites near Thornley Gardens, Rowlands Gill at pre-roost, a total of six kites were seen.
Spring 2020 - Wing tag N2 and partner built a nest in a garden in Lockhaugh, Rowlands Gill and successfully fledged three chicks in July. (Wing tags S2 & S3, the third chick was to small to wing tag.
August 2020 - N2 seen with one of its three juveniles
Latest Sighting: 17/03/23 - N2 was identified from a photograph whilst flying with two other kites (one of which was fitted with a radio transmitter) at Far Pastures, Lockhaugh, Rowlands Gill.

September 2017 - Towards the end of this month N9 plus a Grizedale, Cumbria kite WT Orange/Black 1 were identified from photographs whilst they were flying over Stoterley Hill south of Edmundbyers. There were three other untagged kites seen in the area at the same time.
Latest Sighting: April 2018 - Sadly this young kite was found dead near Lintz Hall in County Durham - there were no obvious reasons and no suspicious circumstances.
