09/01/22: Wing tag T2 was identified at Waskerley Pallets, just south of Healeyfield, between Smiddy Shaw Reservoir and Castleside.
Latest Sighting: 23/01/22 - Wing tag T2 was identified at a pre roost gathering near Hamsterley Mill and dropped into roost with 60 other birds.

Brief Summary: Wing tag T3 can only be identified from a visual sighting. WT T3 is one of a brood of three from a nest built in a Scots Pine tree. Its siblings are WT T4 and WT T5. There was the remains of a young jackdaw in the nest and a dirty white cloth.
09/01/22- Wing tag T3 was sighted at a pre roost gathering near Hamsterley Mill in the Pontburn Valley,. A total of 74 kites roosted in the area that evening.
16/01/22 - Wing tag T3 was identified at a pre roost gathering near Hamsterley Mill in the Pontburn Valley, Sixty nine kites roosted in the area that evening.
23/01/22 - Wing tag T3 was identified at a pre roost gathering near Hamsterley Mill in the Pontburn Valley. Sixty one kites roosted in the area that evening.
27/05/22 - Wing tag T3 was identified from a photograph taken from the Pontburn Viaduct. T3 was in a group of five kites that lifted from trees on the Hamsterley Hall estate when disturbed by the noise of a lawnmower starting up. T3 had significant feather damage almost certainly caused by being shot at.
Latest Sighting: 29/05/22 - Wing tag T3 was again identified from a photograph. This time from a field above Ebchester in the Derwent Valley. T3 was with circa 6 other kites and the photograph confirmed the damage the bird has suffered to its feathering from being shot at.
